Mid Autumn

Celebrating mid autumn festival is meaningful, if there are friends or family around...

Last Saturday, I went to a simple gathering organized by Farlim Adventist Church and Cynn was putting a lot of effort in making this event successful.

Her prayer was answered.. Clear sky and round moon. Not to mention the happy faces among those who presented.

We had wonderful dinner, lantern puzzles (aka 燈謎), lantern lightning and of course, pastor's sharing.

One incidents happened during our effort to hang up those lanterns on raffia ropes. The lanterns were dropping one by one after a period of time because we oversaw the possibility for the ropes to be melted by candle heat. Well, something to learn. =)

Pastor was trying to share about light and he mentioned about how we, Christian reflects God's light throughout our life. I was touched...and actually I wanted to ask,

"Is it possible for me to burn myself to lighten up others?"

...

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." - Genesis 1:3 ~ 4
